About Us

est. 2020

It all began with a visit to a local lavender farm, Cowlitz Falls Lavender Company, for a family photos in 2019. I looked around at the rows of lavender and imagined I could do the same with our rolling field of grass.

With a great imagination and a dream to build upon our beautiful landscape, I planted our first row of lavender in April  of 2020.  Together, with our adult kids, Stewie, and grandkids, we started with building The Cabin in the Woods, followed by The Outhouse, then planted the lavender.

We started with one experimental row, and it quickly evolved into four, then eight, then 12 and so on!  Countless trips to Sequim to buy plants from Victor, and much research, via Youtube and visiting farms alike, helped us to establish and build our family business into what it is today.

Over the past four years, our property has grown by adding a permanent and unique structures. Our "strore", known as, Pace Mercantile, is full of handmade items, such as: unique gifts, treats, honey, soap, lotion, dried and seasonal fresh lavender, tea, candles, body products, cute crap, lavender lemonade, candles, seasonal baked goods, and a whole lot more. Additionally, we have unique yard art and live plants for sale.

We hosted a wedding reception for our grown-son in 2023, so we (as in me) built The Chapel, which is a spot to support a future wedding venue and/or host workshops and special gatherings.

The wedding reception encouraged the expansion and building of Pace Pavilion. Pace Pavilion will be a great space for year-round private parties, once complete.
